Happy Sunday friends!
I've been working on some beginning of the year things {that conference I went to was NO help! It's got my head spinning in so many ways!}
I'm working on a "safe place" for the conscious discipline I plan on implementing next year in my class (hopefully tomorrow I will be able to post a picture) and I'm going to incorporate Daily 5, too! SO excited about that one! It's really very similar to what I already do in stations... but gives the kids a little more freedom. I know that will be great for their learning!
Aaaah!! And tomorrow is Made it Monday! Have I made it yet?! ha! Does it count that it's on the top of my to-do list?? Hopefully I will be able to finish that up tomorrow morning (nothing like procrastinating, right?! ;)
And to share with you my latest creation..
"I spy" beginning sounds cards!
I got this idea while cleaning up Ella's disastrous room playing with Ella.
She loves looking at those cards - I figured why not make a game like that for my school kids? (she will love it too over the summer!) AND hopefully I'll be making a whole little series out of it . . ending sound, blends, digraphs, etc.
Click HERE to check them out on TpT!
{frames from Ms. Fultz!}
I think they turned out pretty cute! They will be perfect for Word work!
And... if you're one of the first 3 people that can guess my favorite color, you can get them for free! Don't forget to leave an email address so I can send them to you!
Love the word work!!!!
