Ready for first grade!

Hi y'all!
I'm just popping in really quick to share with you my "I'm Ready for First grade" journal. If you read my last post about expository writing, the journals were in the pictures. I had several of you ask for the paper, so here it is!

Several of my students have been using this writing paper since Christmas, and a few are not quite ready for it yet.. but I try to set high expectations! We make a journal for our last six weeks that says "I'm ready for First Grade" on the cover and the pages pictured are included. Even my kiddos who are a little hesitant about it are excited to have so much space to write on!

Click HERE to snag a copy! As always, I would love to hear if you grab them!

  1. This is great! I usually send a collection of goodies home with my kids over the summer and might just put one of these journals in!

    Thanks!

    1. Thank you for the adorable book. We have really gotten into writing since Christmas. We are now busy writing our own stories. They set the charachters, setting, problem and solution. Some of them are hilarious!

One little girl told me today that the problem didn't happen until the Princess got married! Out of the mouth of babes.

Anyway, we love to write. Thanks for another writing opportunity.

  6. This is so cute. One of my favorite activities is to take the child's picture standing in front of the calendar bulletin board at the beginning of the year and again at the end of the year. You can use the two photos to make a "Look how much I've grown" card or use them in their memory books.
